Grant amounts, payment dates, programme rules and major process changes are checked against primary South African government, Department of Social Development, National Treasury and SASSA material.

Publish the answer, not just the source

When a source confirms an amount, date or rule, our goal is to publish the useful fact in full on this website rather than forcing the reader to leave the page to understand the answer.

Time-sensitive review

Grant rates, payment schedules, SRD rules and review procedures are checked again when government publishes a new financial-year schedule, budget announcement, regulation or material operational update.

Corrections
